Sunday Contra Dance (LGRA), 5/7/2023

Location: Lewis Ginter Recreation Association
Music: Rhythmajigs (Charlottesville): Jack Maus, piano; Michael Giordano, fiddle; Pattie Reum, whistles and flute
Caller: Bill Wellington (Staunton)
Admission: $9 members/students, $12 non-members, 18 & under free.
Beginner’s Workshop: Arrive early at 1:45pm to learn or review basic steps.
Dancer’s Gymnasium: Children ages 3 – ~12 are invited to participate in supervised group play activities in the downstairs gymnasium during the contra dance. Kids will be invited up to the Grand Hall for a circle dance at the end of the first half of the contra dance. Children younger than 3 must be supervised by an adult. Children should wear gym shoes. COVID: Please refer to our current Covid Policy and come prepared. We do require proof of vaccination and masks are strongly recommended.
