Sunday Contra Dance (LGRA), 4/23/2023
April 23, 2023 @ 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm
Location: Lewis Ginter Recreation Association
Music: Orion (Norfolk/Tidewater): Joe Healey, hammered dulcimer, tenor and 5-string banjo; Ken Veazey, keyboard; Steve Suhring, fiddle

Admission: $9 members/students, $12 non-members, 18 & under free.
Beginner’s Workshop: Arrive early at 1:45pm to learn or review basic steps.
Dancer’s Gymnasium: Children ages 3 – ~12 are invited to participate in supervised group play activities in the downstairs gymnasium during the contra dance. Kids will be invited up to the Grand Hall for a circle dance at the end of the first half of the contra dance. Children should wear gym shoes. Children younger than 3 must be supervised by an adult.
