DESCRIPTION:Location: Lewis Ginter Recreation Association \n\n\n\nMusic: Rhythmajigs (Charlottesville): Jack Maus\, piano; Michael Giordano\, fiddle; Pattie Reum\, whistles and flute \n\n\n\nCaller: Bill Wellington (Staunton) \n\n\n\nAdmission: $9 members/students\, $12 non-members\, 18 & under free. \n\n\n\nBeginner’s Workshop: Arrive early at 1:45pm to learn or review basic steps. \n\n\n\nDancer’s Gymnasium: Children ages 3 – ~12 are invited to participate in supervised group play activities in the downstairs gymnasium during the contra dance. Kids will be invited up to the Grand Hall for a circle dance at the end of the first half of the contra dance. Children younger than 3 must be supervised by an adult. Children should wear gym shoes. Please see also 1:30pm event for May 7 Children’s Circle Dance Lesson.  \n\n\n\nCOVID: Please refer to our current Covid Policy and come prepared. We do require proof of vaccination and masks are strongly recommended.
